"Inland Empire" has got to be DAVID LYNCH's most challenging and substantial work to date. Clocking in at 179 minutes, this film is an experience like none other. Suffocating, yet humorous at times, "Inland Empire" is a startling tale of an actress who loses grip on the reins of reality and ends up spiraling somewhere far from where she started. Circus freaks, murder, flashbacks to another time in Poland, awkward digital cinematography (his first digital venture!), and too many other tid-bits have made this a sensory event. Completely a LYNCH endeavor that will leave you feeling its presence for days, possibly weeks! BOLZER is a great duo from Switzerland that makes a pretty thick & heavy sound considering that there isn't a bassist. Their sound is a mix of technical death metal with melodic passages that border on progressive metal. The vocals sway between harsh death metal growls to a sort of dive-bombing clean vocal thing. Imagine a mix of MASTODON & ENSLAVED with hints of 80's & 90's Swedish black metal. Great stuff.
