The first CALIFONE release in four years accompanies a dance performance - also titled "Echo Mine" - from choreographer Robyn Mineko Williams that reflects both entities' rough, painterly approach to their respective crafts and shared affinity for abstraction.

Another killer ska set from Bad Time Records! Call Me Malcolm plays a style of ska punk that definitely nods to bands like Catch-22 & Streetlight Manifesto, but with a harder, heavier edge. Not like the hardcore or oi bands, more like late 90s nu-metal with horns.

Can you believe it's been 10 years since The Colour and the Shape album? On their SIXTH album, they've enlisted Gil Norton to man the control board again. They've added some piano and a string section and you really could put ECHOES and COLOUR up against each other in a battle. Pat Smear (GERMS, NIRVANA) is back, Dave's a father, and the boys have grown up! You can no longer call the Foo Fighters that ex-Nirvana, ex-Sunny Day Real Estate band anymore! Rumour has it that "The Pretender" is about Courtney Love and her manipulative ways over Kurt. Dave opens up...... The last track, (yes a piano ballad) is just brilliant. as Mr Burns would say: "Excellent......." very recommended!
