GEOFFREY BAER RULES EVERYTHING AROUND ME

The late 90s/early 00s was a brilliant time in Chicago music history & one of the finest bands from that era was 90 DAY MEN. They got their start in the St. Louis punk & emo scene then relocated to Chicago. Their sound was a mix of Touch & Go style post-punk & WIRE/BAUHAUS influenced art rock with a solid but fluid rhythm section & towards the end the addition of the Fender Rhodes which gave them a really unique sound. Guitarist/vocalist Brian Case went on form DISAPPEARS & FACS as well as releasing multiple solo records, Bassist Rob Lowe formed LICHENS & worked with Johann Johannsson on the "Arrival" soundtrack & scored the "Candyman" remake & drummer Cayce Key played in BLOODIEST. Their 3 albums are included in this box along with some outtakes & Peel Sessions & another Chicago legend in his own right Tim Kinsella wrote the liner notes. RECOMMENDED!
