About Us:
Reckless Records is a group of three record stores in Chicago IL. We carry new & used CDs, DVDs games and loads of Vinyl. Originally started in London, our first Chicago location opened in 1989. (LPs & 7"s). We would love to have you visit us in person. We are always looking to buy your unwanted CDs, DVDs, and vinyl. Please get in touch if you are interested in selling your collections. We buy at all locations every day up to an hour before closing time.

2011 release from DINOSAUR JR's J Mascis, an all-acoustic affair that calls to mind the lo-fi singer/songwriter sounds of the records he made with The Fog, plus the classic sweet and sour melodicism of the earliest and best Dinosaur Jr material. Make no mistake, though: this is a different animal, in that it is All Acoustic. Gentle fingerpicking and that voice, inimitable and identifiable, guiding you through some beautiful and delicate tunes. Guest turns from KURT VILE, KEVIN DREW and MATT VALENTINE (among others) lend a communal sense to this solo album, subtly adding layers of UK folk and LA light. SO RECOMMENDED!!!
